Behind the Site

 Welcome to the super secret colophon aka the behind the scenes section! Let's give a big hand to the words that made this website possible. The font used here and on my britishchick09/Robert Wadlow websites is called DIN Next Light. It was designed by Akira Kobayashi & Sandra Winter and published by Linotype. The font used for the headers and the menu is Georgia. It's also the font used in my books and the second half of the JRose logo! It was designed by Matthew Carter and released by Microsoft. The 'Rose' in the JRose logo is Kurnia (Kurnia), a font created by Adien Gunarta. My trio of websites were made with Wix. Everything else was made by me! ;)

 This site began development on July 28th, 2023. This part of the colophon is being written a couple days later. Hello from the past! As of July 30th, a majority of the website's pages are blank. The homepage has the welcome banner and photos from the template I used, 'Lovely Little Things' (that theme is why orange is part of the banner colors!). I'm so excited to see how it evolves!

And evolve it did! I designed the pages in August and added a search bar to the header (even though there wasn't much to search for!). In September, I added a cute group photo of the POTO quartet, which made their page feel more welcoming! Their first book ('The Opera Ghost') was added in the middle of the month. The POTO homepage banner was added in October and the 'About' page was finally started in November. The website's URL was known as britishchick09.wixsite.com/jrose until December 6th, when it was changed to jrosestories.com. 'The Opera Ghost' was published a month later and the rest is history! ;)
